About Dr. Kiley
Kiley Holmes recently moved from Annapolis, MD where she was the lead physical therapist at AAMC Outpatient Rehabilitation SportsPod and ran the return to sports group. She has a passion for treating lower body injuries, specifically hips and knees as well as returning injured athletes to sport while preventing re-injury.
Kiley is an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS, only 607 in NY), a Sports Certified Specialist (SCS, only 114 in NY) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association Sports and Orthopaedic sections. She is also a member of the Foot and Ankle, Imaging, Female Athlete, Golf and Golf Performance, Hip, Knee, Sports Certified Specialist, and Tactical Athlete Special Interest Groups of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Kiley’s treatment philosophy incorporates the mobile physical therapy model to provide a solution to many of the most frustrating things about healthcare: there is no wait time, you will see the same provider every visit, and the appointment is one on one with no distractions. By focusing on each patient individually we are able to get patients better faster, saving the patient both time and money!
Kiley has spent her physical therapy career working in traditional outpatient clinics all over the US - wherever the US Navy sent her family. In each place she has seen patients stressed about getting to their visit, what to do with their kids during the visit, how to fit an appointment into their kids schedule, how to take time off of work for their visit, or try and explain their work or home ergonomics. So often it would be easier just go to them, and the mobile service provides just that for the patient.
Kiley attended Pacific Union College in Angwin, CA receiving her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry emph. Biochemistry. After college she attended Loma Linda University School of Allied Health for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in Loma Linda, CA followed by a residency program in Orthopaedics at MVP Physical Therapy in Port Orchard, WA. After completing her residency she joined the faculty and completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy with an emphasis in Sports.
